College Scholarship Opportunities! 

If you are a cheerleader, dancer, or gymnast graduating in 2020 or 2021 and interested in pursing it collegiate, you can now have the opportunity to compete for at $1000 in scholarship to Keiser University-Flagship in West Palm Beach, Florida 


World's Perfect Athlete 2020 Qualifier: 

Contestants who are cheerleaders, baton twirlers, dancers, gymnasts, or involved in martial arts  have the opportunity to represent Texas on a PAID BID (a $450 value) to the 2020 World's Perfect Athlete Championships in Delray Beach, Florida. To qualify, contestants must enter the talent optional competition.

NOTE: Male divisions and Female divisions may be combined with other age divisions based upon number of entries.     

Mandatory Events

 

Pink and Purple Party Wear- 50% of Total Score

Outfit of Choice displaying your love for the showing your support for  the Mary Kay Foundation and 2 of their causes- breast health awareness and domestic violence awareness. Females: This can be a party dress or skirt or pant outfit you would wear to a party, semi-formal event, business meeting, etc. Dresses and skirts can be short or tea length but should not be long. Males: This outfit can be a pant or shorts outfit you would wear to a party, semi-formal event, business meeting, etc.   

All outfits must be age appropriate and not revealing. ALL CONTESTANTS OUTFITS MUST BE PINK OR PURPLE ACCENTED IN SILVER,  WHITE, PINK/PURPLE. If colors are not worn, points will be deducted. Props are allowed. No set floor pattern. Hands may NOT touch the ground. Routine is 30 seconds-45 seconds in length.

Imagination/Creative Dream Wear- 50% of Total Score

Outfit of Choice allowing the contestant to celebrate their dreams, ambitions, creativity, and let their imagination soar. Outfits can be fantasy, mystical, original, cosplay, etc.  All outfits must be age appropriate and not revealing. Props are allowed. No set floor pattern. Routine is 30 seconds- 45 seconds length. 

Additional Point Opportunities

  

Referrals- Contestants can earn up to 10 additional points to their final score for having fellow contestants use their name as a reference. The constant that has the most referrals will be awarded a Pink Spirit Title.


TMKF  Donations- 

Another opportunity for contestants to help raise funds for our  benefiting organization is by allowing their friends and family to get involved. Contestants can have people give by making their donations online via special link, donations collected by the contestant turned in at check-in or through donations collected during the actual competition time.  All online and pre-collected funds MUST be received by 1 PM on June 22, 2019. (NOTE CASH DONATIONS CAN BE RECEIVED  on June 21 and June 22. ) Contestants can earn up to 100 additional points to their final score for donations received. The contestant, who receives the most donations, will be crowned People’s Choice. Contestants who raise at least $25 will be given a special award. Let the voice of the people be heard and helping crown the “People’s Choice”. 


  

Flip Flops to the World-

Contestants will have the opportunity to collect new flip flops and turn them in at check-in. All flip flops collected will be given to the non-profit charity, Flip Flops to the World. This year, the flip flops will be sent to those in need in the USA. For more info visit www.flipflopstotheworld.org. Flip flops must be counted and turned at Check-in or by 1 PM on pageant day.  The contestant who collects the most flip flops will be crowned Dreamer Spirit 


Teddy Bears Collection- 

Contestants will have the opportunity to collect new stuffed teddy bears. All bears collected will be given to young victims of domestic violence in our local area. Bears must be counted and turned in at Check-in or by 1 PM of pageant day. The contestant who collects the most bears will be crowned the Purple Spirit Title. 

Optional Events

 

Boys and Girls will be combined together expect Best Awards. Best Awards are divisional and judge during on-stage Pink and Purple Wear. Ages 0-2, 3-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20+


   

Photogenic:  May enter up to 4 photos.  $10 1st photo or unlimited photos (up to 4) for $25.   Each judged individually and each count as a separate entry.  Must be 8x10.  Color or Black and White.  On the back of each photo, it must include name and age. Turn in at pageant check in.


Portfolio:  $10.  Must contain 5-10 photos of different looks.  8x10 photos.  Color or Black and White. Portfolio must begin with a cover page name and age of contestant. Turn in at pageant check in.


Spirit Posters: $10. Must on a 11x14 size of poster board. The board is theme is “Dreaming in Pink and Purple”. The board is meant to be promoting the awareness for both Domestic Violence Awareness (Purple) & Breast Health Awareness (Pink) Posters will not be returned they will be put on display at Rolling Oaks Mall in the Month of October. Please include contestant’s name, age, and city on the back of poster. Turn in at pageant check-in.

 

Talent: $10. A costume and props may be used with coordinating talent. Makeup rules do not apply. We will have a handheld mic and mic stand for your convenience. If music is required please bring music formatted in MP3 audio format on a CD or MP3 device . CD must have only one song on it, cued and ready to go. CD must also be edited to stop where needed. We will not fade out. 3 minutes is the time limit for talent so make sure your CD is the correct timing. CD music must stop on or before that time. We will not fade out for you or cue CD to start time for you. Must bring in 2 CD’s. One will be used as a backup should the 1st not work. Both must be in separate sleeve or jewel case. Both marked with contestant name and age ONLY and type of talent (dance, vocal, etc). These must be turned in at pageant check in. No late drop offs will be permitted. Music must be suitable for all audience members. No vulgar or suggestive lyrics allowed. If singing only background vocals will be allowed on your tracks. We want to hear your voice so please no lead vocals on the tracks. Talent of singing or speaking MUST use a microphone. No exceptions. The competition is very open and large. We want judges and spectators to be able to hear the contestant. If performing a dance please no suggestive dance moves in your routine. The stage is carpeted. If you need a dance floor you must supply it. Gymnasts please note the stage is not a fixed stage however a portable stage on risers. Although the stage is safe and secure it is NOT padded. Should you need to bring your gym mats please do so. We do not supply optional flooring. Time limit for talent maximum is 2.30 minutes. Should you go over, the judges will deduct points from your score.


 Best Awards:  $10 for the bundle.  Best Smile, Best Personality, Best Eyes. Judged in Pink and Purple Wear. 

 

Superstar Bundle Package: $35. Includes any 4 optional events (can enter 2 talents entries) but only 1 PHOTO. DOES NOT INCLUDE PHOTOGENIC PACKAGE. Should you want to enter 2-4 photos, it will be an additional $25. 

Pageant Titles

  

Pageant Titles:

 

Superstar (16 & Over)- Title will be given to the overall HIGHEST combination of scores in mandatory events, and donations. Winner will serve for 1 year. 


All-Star (15 and Under)- Title will be given to the  HIGHEST combination of scores in mandatory events, and donations. Winner will serve for 1 year. 


Pink Dreams- Title will be awarded to the contestant with the highest combined total out of the mandatory events in their respective division. All winners will serve for 1 year. 


Purple Dreams- Title will be awarded to the contestant with the second highest combined total out of the mandatory events in their respective division, if the additional fee has been paid. All winners will serve for 1 year.


Purple Spirit- Title will be given to the contestant who collects the most Teddy Bears. Only one title will be awarded. Winner will serve for 1 year.

 

People’s Choice- Title will be given to the contestant who raises the most donations. Only one title will be awarded. Winner will serve for 1 year.

 

Pink Dreams Sweetheart- Director’s Choice. Only one title will be awarded. Winner will serve for 1 year. 


Pink Spirit- Title will be awarded to the contestant who has the most referrals. Only one title will be awarded. Winner will serve for 1 year. 


Go Getter- Title will be awarded to the contestant who collects the most flip flops. Only one title will be awarded. Winner will serve for 1 year. 


Title Winners Expectations: 

Purple Dreams, Pink Spirit, Purple Spirit, Go Getter and Sweetheart Winners may re-enter the pageant the following year as long as they have fulfilled their obligations and followed the pageant rules and regulations. Pink Dreams, All-Star, & Superstar may not compete the following year UNLESS they are moving up in age division. SUPERSTAR, ALL-STAR, PINK DREAMS, PURPLE DREAMS, SPIRIT TITLE WINNERS, GO GETTER,  PEOPLE’S CHOICE, AND SWEETHEART MUST AGREE TO REPRESENT THE MARY KAY FOUNDATION AND TEXAS ALL STARS EXPRESSIONS AND ASSUME RESPONSIBILITES FOR ONE YEAR AS STATED IN CONTRACT SIGNED AFTER CROWNING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN BEING REMOVED FROM TITLE AND NOT BEING ABLE TO COMPETE FOR 2 YEARS. Texas All Stars Expressions reserves the right to refuse entry into the pageant to anyone for any reason.  Royalty must maintain a good moral ethical character at all times and those of again must refrain from smoking or drinking whilst in crown and sash or at any event they are appearing at.
